We DO NOT use dirty bucket water and rags! We only use PURE WATER for our Window Cleaning which leaves your Windows shining!

What is Pure Water for Window Cleaning?

You may think that tap water looks clean but a lot of dissolved chemicals and minerals are lurking within. The amount will vary from area to area (Hard & Soft water regions). These minerals (mainly consisting of calcium and magnesium) are what leave white residues on the glass.

The water purification technology de-mineralises and de-ionises tap water to remove these impurities and produce pure water. In our opinion, Pure water is by far the best product to clean windows:

The nature of water means it does not like being pure and it strives to return to its impure state. To do this it actually absorbs dirt particles from the glass thus aiding the cleaning process.

Because of the aggressive strength of pure water, we do not need to use cleaning detergents on the windows which is much better for the environment.

Because the impurities have been removed, we do not need to squeegee the windows, we simply rinse the glass after cleaning them with the brush and pure water to leave them to dry naturally for an excellent streak-free finish.

Our promise to you – Worried about it raining when your windows are being cleaned? Fortunately, due to the system that we use and the strengths and benefits of correctly filtered pure water, the rain should not affect the results of the cleaning. If within 24 hours you’re not happy and feel the cleaning isn’t up to our usual standards, just let us know and we will come back to you free of charge.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are the Windows left wet and not wiped down?

Due to the nature of the Pure Water, it is best to leave them dry naturally without using a Chamois Leather or Cloth which could introduce fibres and dirt from these. This allows your Windows to stay cleaner for longer.

Where is the Pure Water from?

Believe it or not, Pristine Clean actually produce their own Pure Water in Nottingham! The Water starts in simple ‘Tap Water’ form and then goes through various filtration processes until it comes through the other end ‘Pure’! Pure Water isn’t cheap to produce but we take our responsibilities very seriously and ensure the filters and resins are changed regularly and that the readings of the water are on or around ‘000’. If the readings are too high, the cleaning process will not work properly. Once the Pure Water is in its pure state, it is then pumped into the tanks within the vans, which we bring to your homes and premises to carry out the cleaning.

I have used this system before but it left dirty ‘rain drop’ marks on my windows after the cleaning!

Reason 1:

If the Pure Water isn’t produced with the correct methods, products, care and attention, it may well not be 100% pure. It takes a great deal of experience and training to know how to produce the pure water to a high standard.

Reason 2:

Even if the water is 100% pure, what can happen on the 1st or even 2nd clean is that when we clean the windows, we also clean the seals and frames. The seals can hold a lot of grime and if they’ve never had a good scrub before, when we leave, these can seep out dirty water (which will look like dirty raindrops). We, of course, do our best to prevent this from happening by spending more time at your property/premises on the initial clean. We are so confident of our cleaning services, that we offer a 24-hour guarantee.

Environmentally Friendly Cleaning

The Window Cleaning industry isn’t a large contributor to environmental pollution but it does have an impact, and anything we can do to lessen any potential damage is a step in the right direction.

Our most common contribution to possible environmental damage is the use of detergents when carrying out Traditional Window Cleaning, as detergents have been identified as polluters of groundwater and river water.

Our contribution to saving the planet may be small but we do try to make a difference.

Training

Director, David Lucas has been fully trained by The British Window Cleaning Academy (BWCA). This knowledge and training are passed onto all of our staff.
